Being dedicated to studying and refining techniques for making ant habitats for almost 15 years, we continue strive to bring ants as pets to our customers. From Water Towers to Nestmates, and formicaria such as the Mini Hearth, Fortress, Labyrinth, Nucleus and Pioneer, Tar Heel Ants has innovated with new products for almost 15 years in the ant keeping hobby.

We create sand-coated chambers using our proprietary in-house methods. Our formicaria contain no adhesives or glues in the manufacturing process.
