The Mini Palladium

 ***This formicarium is ideal for founding tiny, small, and medium sized species of ants.  Please read notes below about using this habitat for larger ants***

The Mini Palladium is a new Premium Formicarium from Tar Heel Ants.  This formicarium incorporates museum quality acrylic boxes and glass for viewing along with many of our proprietary features such as water towers, nestmates, and magnetically removable tops and glass (nest area).  This formicarium is customizable using the options to include sizes up to medium-sized of ants.  The foraging area and ant nest are contained within one formicarium (all-in-one formicaria style).

NOTE: This formicarium, while it could be used in theory for larger ants, would need to be used only as a founding chamber for a short period of time for larger Camponotus species and other large species.  The design would be an "open" chamber (not a random design with several rooms like seen in photos) for larger ants.  We are happy to accomodate this request, but the smaller size of this chamber would only hold approximately 20-30 large ants.
